Robert R. Feis, CPA

Bob has been working in public accounting since graduating from the University of Northern Colorado in 1981 with a Bachelors of Science degree, Emphasis in Accounting. Bob has extensive experience providing income tax and consulting services to individuals, trusts and numerous business entities of a wide range of size and industry. He is an advocate of small business and particularly enjoys working with closely held business owners by providing income tax, consulting, accounting and audit services. In addition, Bob works with numerous Non-Profit organizations and small Governmental entities and Special Districts providing accounting and auditing services.

Bob and his wife Malinda currently reside in Thornton, CO and have two grown children; but more importantly, three Grand Children.

Since his college days, Bob has been active in various community activities, programs and organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the Colorado Society of CPA's. He has served as Treasurer and Chairman of CASA of Adams and Broomfield Counties, an organization that advocates for abused and neglected children. He was the Chair of the Platte Valley Medical Center Foundation from 1995 to 2014 and also currently serves as Chair on the Platte Valley Medical Center Board of Directors. He also served as Chair of the Adams County Employee Pension Plan and has been actively involved in the Brighton Kiwanis Club (past Chair and Treasurer), the Brighton Chamber of Commerce (past Chair and Treasurer), the Brighton Economic Development Corp. (past Chair), the MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce (past Treasurer) and other community projects. Bob has been fortunate to be recognized for his involvement in these organizations, including a 2008 recognition as a "CPA who Makes a Difference" from the Colorado Society of CPAs and the annual "Joseph Gomez Award" from Almost Home, Inc. a local non-profit organization assisting homeless families. He is also past recipient of the "Businessman of the Year" from the MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce, "Economic Developer of the Year" from the Brighton Economic Develop Corp, and Brighton Kiwanian of the Year.

Bob and his wife enjoy traveling and relaxing "on the Beach". He also enjoys golf, scuba diving, listening to music and just hanging out with family and friends.
